Ayesha Sultana (b. 1984, Bangladesh) received a BFA in Visual Arts and subsequently a Post-Graduate Diploma in Art Education (2008) at the Beaconhouse National University in Lahore. She has presented a solo exhibition at the 2016 Dhaka Art Summit, Bangladesh and has participated in numerous group exhibitions including the 11th Gwangju Biennial, South Korea and the Queens Museum, New York, USA. She will participate in the upcoming 9th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art in QAGOMA, Brisbane, Australia in 2018. She also completed a curatorial research residency at Gasworks, London, is the recipient of the 2014 Samdani Art Award and attended a residency at the Delfina Foundation, London. Her work is included in the collections of Tate, London; Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA); Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi; and M WOODS, Beijing, among others.
